Senior Nurse (Quality Lead) Sylvie Cooke has now retired after over 27 years of service to St Roccos’s Hospice.

To all the nursing Ward staff

Our Mum Anne Sperrin Recently spent time with you before she passed away in May. Cannot thank you all for making the time she had left so special and dignified. The nurses went above and beyond to see that her last weeks of life were memories we can treasure. She kept telling us, “these are my favourite nurses!” But she said that about them all. St Rocco’s Volunteers

Thank you to the amazing volunteers who’ve been part of our story. One person who really stands out is Peggy Moss. For years, Peggy gave up one day a week to come in and help out—and she did it with such kindness, warmth, and dedication. Peggy’ was awarded an MBE for her incredible charity work, which made us all so proud. She was a truly special person.

St. Rocco’s Starlight Walkers

I volunteered at my first Starlight Walk in 2009. Here’s to the amazing ladies who walked through the night year after year, walking for loved ones, walking for St. Rocco’s. What a fabulous and emotional sight seeing you all set off in pink at midnight, lighting up the night with flashing headwear. You are all amazing 🤩💕 x
